Thanks to our supportive programming staff at
Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance,

"Soul InTension" during the
Boogie Down Dance Festival bringing together crew and
dance company members on stage.
It was the return performance for Tiffany Craddock
and for Keny Zulu. We hope to perform this piece again in the
near future. In the photo below are some crew

Thanks to Aviva Davidson, a reporter from the
Brazilian TV network REDE TV interviewed
Kwikstep and Rokafella for a short story on the Bronx and
its present Arts movement. Check out the link to the news
story. Below the link is a photo taken during the interview that
happened minutes before showtime at Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance.
The Behind the Groove party in May was live and full of vibrant energy
tho we missed DJ DP One but Jaze Art Remote
filled the space with his House set
and Ron Renaissance on the Trombone!
Kwikstep hit us hard with a Beastie Boys tribute unlike any other!!!
It has not been easy to extend our party to other nights in the month
at other venues as we had envisioned and we are sorry for having to
cancel the Yotel edition of the BTG party. BUT we could not
bring our one-of-a-kind DANCE party to a location that
wouldn't honor our home grown dance vibe. Stay tuned for some new
developments for BTG at the new Gonazalez and Gonzalez restaurant/club
on Mercer presently scheduled to be held on the last Saturdays of
month beginning with June 30th.
